Overview

Further developments in UV LED lamp systems, together with advances in the formulation of conformal coatings, are driving interest in the adoption of UV LED curing in the electronics markets. This webinar will provide an overview of the features and benefits of UV LED lamp technology and a closer look at the use of UV LED in conformal coating applications:  an environmentally friendly solution for printed circuit board protection. The presentation will explain and highlight the benefits that UV LED conformal coating chemistries can bring for electronic protection and high-volume manufacturing processes.

After studying Chemistry at Manchester University, UK, Dawn Skinner spent 12 years working in the chemical industry in R&D and Product Development for UV curable resins and monomers.  Currently working at Excelitas as an Application Development Manager, she works with customers and partners to develop applications using UV technology. Dawn speaks frequently at industry conferences.  She is also a former President of RadTech Europe and currently serves on their Management Committee.

Marie Kaing graduated from the Science University of Sophia Antipolis in France with a master’s in Organic Chemistry. She is a sales director for ABchimie, a conformal coating manufacturer, and is responsible for providing commercial and technical support to customers and channel partners globally.  Marie has extensive knowledge in coating chemistries and applications thanks to her 20-year involvement in the electronic industry. Her past work experience was with Inventec Performance Chemicals, HumiSeal, and Akzo Nobel.
