Water-based inkjet applications are becoming ubiquitous in serval printed products but especially for the packaging industry. This presentation covers the understanding of heat transfer mechanisms, differences of infrared wavelengths and the relevance of moisture transport. Excelitas will discuss how to develop and evaluate processes in drying, such as finding the optimal process window between emitting light sources, material absorption, and chemical composition. We provide our customers with the essential tools and solutions to create their own processes for achieving their goals.
