Excelitas to Showcase Expanded Portfolio of UV Curing Systems at the International Wire and Cable Symposium (IWCS) 2025
WHO: Excelitas®, a leading provider of advanced, life-enriching technologies that make a difference, serving global market leaders in the life sciences, advanced industrial, next-generation semiconductor and avionics sectors, will present and showcase its expanded portfolio of UV curing systems for fiber and wire coatings, cable marking and ribboning from its OmniCure® , Phoseon® and Fusion UV® brands at IWCS 2025.
WHAT: Excelitas will present demonstrations of the following innovations at Booth #510:
- Phoseon Fiber Curing Systems consist of a high intensity UV LED light source, which cures the coatings protecting the glass fibers, along with a Fiber Reflector Unit (FRU) to direct the UV energy around the circumference of the fiber. The UV LED light source and FRU are enclosed in an IP52 enclosure, protecting the system from liquid spills.
- OmniCure AC9225-F UV LED Curing Systems are specifically designed for fiber curing applications, featuring an innovative optical design to enhance output and optimize delivery of UV onto the fiber. With up to 80 W/cm2 irradiance on the fiber in the standard face-to-face configuration, the OmniCure AC9225-F provides an air-cooled, high output solution to meet the increasing demand for faster process speeds.
- OmniCure AC9300P LED Large-Area UV Curing Systems deliver over 14 W/cm2 peak irradiance and are an ideal solution for cable marking and ribboning. The high-performance, air-cooled AC9300P offers enhanced optics for fast uniform curing at short working distances.
- Fusion UV LightHammer® III UV Curing System for fiber and cable is the latest generation “smart” microwave-powered system with a secondary reflector. The IoT-enabled Mark III system includes a 10-inch-wide intelligent irradiator (lamp module), electrodeless bulb and solid-state power supply.
