Advanced system delivers fast, powerful pulsed light disinfection with washdown-compatible housing, flexible chiller options and rigorous safety features for a broad variety food and packaging disinfection applications

Engineered to excel in the challenging environments of food processing and packaging production facilities, the system delivers powerful, reliable and eco-friendly pulsed light disinfection for various applications. The innovative solution is designed for disinfecting a wide variety of substrates, from food packaging to direct irradiation of organic products such as poultry portions, ensuring effective chemical-free disinfection. The system’s flash control cabinet and flash lamp module are housed in robust IP69K rated washdown protocol compatible housing. The flash control cabinet features an integrated internal water chiller or an optional external air‑to‑water chiller to accommodate diverse process needs – utilizing water cooling allows for high peak and average output powers. Robust safety mechanisms further ensure reliable performance in the cold, humid conditions common to food processing and packaging facilities. The system is designed to easily integrate above conveyor belt production lines, making it suitable for new installations as well as retrofitting to existing production lines.
The BlueLight Flash Small Area UVC Disinfection System achieves greater than 4‑log reductions in microbial load on a variety of common packaging and can operate at throughputs of up to 500 square meters per hour. It provides effective, contactless dry disinfection reducing chemical use lowering the overall environmental impact of production.
